Speak Up AlbanyBenzie Johnson: On November 3rd I ask everyone to write-in their vote for Benzie Johnson. You can go
to benziejohnson.blogspot.com for information on how to do a write-in vote and for important information regarding the issues
and my plans concerning the budget. I want to thank G.A.E.S Magazine for the opportunity to be heard and I will continue
to speak with the residents in resolving Albany's issues. We are all the same for we are all human beings on this earth,
living and breathing the same air in the same 24 hours a day, and some of us are trying to make the necessary changes for
human equality. I will not stand for human inequalities of any type, and when elected that will not change. I am a candidate
where you know where I stand, and can trust the path I'm going on for Albany, my blog says alot regarding this. More
can be done for Albany's residents and it's not happening with the incumbent mayor and his path is not one that should be
taken anymore, it's simply not work! ing. Everyone needs to be heard in this city, not just certain people
but everyone, and my administration will actively listen to everyone. I ran for mayor in 2001, 2005 and now in 2009,
I will not run again for mayor in 2013 unless I win. Residents need to wake up and understand that you cannot get a
different end result with the same elected/appointed people in office, it's not going to happen, no matter how much you want
it to.

The Albany Mayoral RaceJamesV: I believe all canidates bring good ideas to the table. The LGBT community needs a canidate that
will fight for their equal rights. After reading all the questions that were asked to the canidates, I believe that current
mayor Jerry Jennings holds substance to his responses. He has proven to be vocal in equal rights for the entire community.
He attends most all events related to LGBT and has increased diversity training to all city employees. I believe he will continue
to be an asset for the LGBT community if he is re-elected again.
